First Aid
In first aid class, students learn how to help someone who suddenly becomes ill or injured. Illness Topics include: Scene Safety Using personal protective equipment such as gloves and masks. Treatment of sudden illnesses such as low blood sugar, poisoning, burns, severe allergic reactions, asthma, seizures, stroke, exposure to heat and cold, as well as more illness topics. Treatment of injuries such as: nose bleeds, control of severe bleeding, shock, splinting broken bones, treatment of sprains and strains, and more injury topics.

Basic Life Support (BLS) is available in two different training methods – blended learning and classroom training. All BLS course options teach the same AHA science-based skills and result in the same AHA BLS Course Completion Card.

BLS CPR/AED
BLS CPR/AED Course is designed for students who are entering the medical field as healthcare providers, such as physicians, nurses, EMT's, and persons working in medical facilities. BLS course covers adult, child, infant, one & two rescuer CPR, relief from choking, use of AED, use of bag valve mask manual resuscitator, and working together as a team. Course lasts approximately 4 hours.

BLS CPR/AED & FIRST AID COURSE
BLS CPR/AED is for people working in the hospital. This course teaches professional rescuers, how to perform CPR, on adults, children and infants, relief from choking, 2 rescuer CPR, use of bag valve mask, use of automated external defibrillator, AED. The FIRST AID course is included. If you are a medical provider such as a nurse, and your are required to have both CPR & FIRST AID, this course is for you.
